About Us

Calantha Biotech, ISO 9001:2015 certified lab, is a Mumbai based company that focuses on anti-microbial testing solutions for multiple industries like textiles, paints, foods, agriculture and allied services & pharmaceuticals. We also undertake enzyme based research projects & provide consulting services for enzymes and other microbial products like polysaccharides, colourants etc. thus contributing to eco-friendly alternatives for these industries.

The company was founded in 2014 by Dr. Madhura Nerurkar after completing PhD in Biotechnology from renowned Institute of Chemical Technology, Matunga in Mumbai (India). With vast research experience in textiles, microbiology and biotechnology, She has served as a consultant for many well-known Indian companies.
